Weed Control Service

The Standard Plan

The Standard Plan is designed as a maintenance package perfect for those yards that are mostly weed free and healthy. It consists of 5 applications occurring approximately every 6 weeks April through October.

The Elite Plan

The Elite Plan is designed for those yards that are in need of getting the weeds under control and the turf up to optimal health or if you have a well maintained yard and want the best looking yard on the block. It consists of 7 applications occurring monthly, April through October, and includes grub and Japanese Beetle control.

Traditional Lawn Care:

This is our lawn treatment service that takes a more traditional approach using synthetic fertilizers and herbicides to get the most control of weeds in the turf as possible.

We will even do all of the work. That is what we do for a living you know! If you are ready to throw in the towel attempting to rid your lawn of weeds, we have the answer to your problems.

Lawn Fertilization and Weed Control Program

You get the best of both worlds with this program!

Early Spring – Fertilizer and pre-emergent

Spring – Fertilizer, pre-emergent, and post-emergent weed control as needed

Summer – Fertilizer and scout for weeds and spot spray as needed

Fall – Fertilizer, fall pre-emergent and spot spray weeds as needed

Late Fall – Fertilizer and treatment for any weeds still potentially left in your lawn

The fertilizer used in this program is slow release and phosphate free.

In the summer, we will only use grub control products on high-risk lawns.

Along with the University of Illinois, we recommend aeration and overseeding in the fall.
